Dragisa Okolisanov
Okolisanov told Beta that 45,300 new entrepreneurs were registered last year and noted that there are nearly 88,500 companies and around 143,000 entrepreneurs operating in Serbia at the moment.
He announced the implementation of a “one stop shop” programme which will enable the Agency to issue the tax identification number instead of the Tax Administration.
This would considerably reduce costs and shorten the procedure from present 18 days to not more than five days, he said.
According to him, the Agency should also start registering foreign investments in Serbia.
According to Okolisanov, the Agency is about to enter the European Commercial Registers Forum (ECRF), which should enable Serbian companies to be disposable on the Internet in nearly 20 partner registers from the EU.
