The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated today that the tender commission for the sale of property and transfer of exploitation rights of the Bor mining and metallurgical complex RTB has declared Cuprom SA Romania the first-ranked bidder.
The statement adds that the tender concerns the sale of property and transfer of exploitation rights of the Bor mining and metallurgical complex including Bor Copper Mines in restructuring, Majdanpek Copper Mines in restructuring and Copper Smeltery and Refinery in restructuring.
The privatisation Agency stated that the first-ranked bidder is Cuprom SA Romania who has offered the price of $400 million.
The second-ranked is the consortium comprising Orn Event Fund LP and East Point Holdings Limited from Cyprus who offered the total price of $350.1 million both for movables and immovables.
Amalco Limited from Cyprus is the third-ranked with the proposed price of $288 million.
