Kostunica extends Christmas greeting

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has extended a Christmas greeting to all believers who celebrate this great Christian holiday according to the Gregorian calendar.

“I send my heartfelt greetings to all who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar with a wish to spend it in peace, joy, good health and prosperity.
“By cherishing the customs and moral principles common to all, believers in our country make stronger the fundamental values necessary for mutual understanding and development of tolerance. “The celebration of the great holiday of Saviour’s birth for all Christian believers is the day of peace and joy, and for all Serbian citizens it is the chance to make their contribution to an overall social and cultural progress as well as to join forces to the benefit of all,” reads the Serbian Prime Minister’s Christmas greeting.
