Full enforcement of copyright law necessary

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said today in a meeting with representatives of SOKOJ, the Association of Jazz Musicians and the Association of Folk Singers that it is very important to respect rights of authors and to fully respect regulations for this area.
Representatives of these associations stressed that Serbian regulations on copyright are in accordance with European standards and pointed to problems in their application.
The meeting also focused on further steps in protection of copyright and it was agreed to organise joint activities in cooperation with line ministries to protect these rights.
The meeting was attended by Srdjan Hofman, Aleksandar Kovacevic, Vlado Georgiev, Bora Djordjevic, Bora Dugic, Leontina Vukomanovic, Marina Tucakovic, Vlada Maricic and Misa Mijatovic.
