President of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija Sanda Raskovic-Ivic said today that in her address to the UN Security Council tonight she will point out that the Serbian side is ready for the process that will result in a compromise for Kosovo-Metohija.
Raskovic-Ivic told Tanjug that she will speak on failure to meet standards, restricted movement and assaults on Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija.
She also said that she will convey to ambassadors of Security Council members that Serbia has a new Constitution under which Kosovo-Metohija is an unalienable part of Serbia and that the preamble of the Serbian Constitution incorporates part of the UN Charter and the UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
The UN Security Council will hold a session tonight in New York dedicated to Kosovo, in which UNMIK Chief Joachim Ruecker will present his regular quarterly report, whereas Serbia’s position will be represented by Raskovic-Ivic.
