President of the Coordinating Centre for Kosovo-Metohija Sanda Raskovic-Ivic today attended talks with a delegation of the French parliament at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, led by head of delegation Michel Voisin. She pointed to the constant violation of human rights and freedoms of non-Albanian communities in the province, especially of Serbs.
Raskovic-Ivic underlined that it is necessary that the international community insist on the respect of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244, just as Serbia is doing.
Voisin said that the permanent delegation of the French parliament at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly supports a compromise solution for Kosovo-Metohija and underlined that such a solution should be reached through negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina.
The worst solution would be the one imposed by the international community in case of lack of a compromise, Voisin said and added that it is necessary to protect the Serbian cultural heritage in Kosovo-Metohija, which is seriously jeopardised.
