The Serbian Statistics Office said that Serbia’s average gross salary in October, amounted to RSD 32,668, which is 0.35% and 0.75% higher in nominal and real terms respectively against the previous month.

The average salary paid out in October 2006 increased nominally 22.26% and 13.41% in real terms year-on-year.
The average take-home salary in October 2006 was 22.31% and 13.46% higher in nominal and real terms against the same month of 2005.
The nominal and real increase in the January-October 2006 period was 24% and 10.42% against the same period of 2005.
