Advisor to Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Simic said that if UN special envoy for Kosovo-Metohija Martti Ahtisaari made some sort of secret plan with separatists in Pristina, behind Serbia’s back, that paper is null and void.

In a statement with FoNet, Simic said that the paper is especially void if it is not in accordance with the UN Charter and if it interferes with the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
He said that Serbia will never allow experiments with international law to be organised on its territory.
Simic warned that the UN envoy’s task is to organise talks where compromise and acceptable solutions would be reached.
The current and all future governments of Serbia as well as all state institutions are obliged by citizens will confirmed through the Constitution which defines Kosovo-Metohija as Serbia’s inalienable part. Therefore, any paper of Ahtisaari’s must include this fact, Simic said.
