Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić spoke today with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov about improving relations between the two countries, especially in the field of economic and security cooperation.

Dačić, who is co-chair of the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation between Serbia and Kazakhstan, pointed out the importance of its work and the concretisation of the agreed activities.
It was assessed that good political relations, regular high-level contacts and the work of the Intergovernmental Commission represent a solid basis for further deepening cooperation between the two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for its principled position regarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
