Following a meeting at the Palace of Serbia and a joint news conference with Homem, Dačić said that the signing of this document represents a continuation of cooperation between Serbia and Angola in the field of internal affairs, noting that the two ministries already have a signed agreement on cooperation regarding security and public order.
He stated that the friendship connecting Serbia and Angola for over half a century, with a continuity of good relations and mutual support within international organisations, forms the foundation for further strengthening cooperation.
Homem emphasised that the friendly relations between Angola and Serbia are based on mutual respect and trust, expressing the belief that his visit to Belgrade could mark a new stage in bilateral cooperation.
He stated that the agreement on cooperation in the field of security and interior order, signed by Angola and Serbia in 2022, serves as an important foundation for deepening relations, and that the memorandum of understanding between the two ministries regarding civil protection and firefighting services was therefore signed today.
