Samardzic, Kojen discuss Kosovo problem with Russian officials

Advisor to the Serbian Prime Minister Slobodan Samardzic and Serbian President’s Advisor Leon Kojen arrived in a two-day visit to Moscow.

Samardzic told Tanjug that meetings have been scheduled with Russian officials on Kosovo-Metohija, and on the province’s future status in particular.
Russia is one of countries members of the Contact Group for Kosovo-Metohija, along with the US, Germany, UK, France and Italy. The visit of Serbian officials comes just before the meeting of the Contact Group with UN Envoy for Kosovo Martti Ahtisaari in early November.
The Contact Group will then come up with stands on Ahtisaari’s proposals presented on October 21 in Vienna.
