Speaking at the gala evening organised by the Chinese media company CCTV at the Chinese Cultural Centre, Dačić expressed his confidence that this will be a year in which the People’s Republic of China, by investing in the development of modern technologies and innovation, will secure its position as a global leader.
In times of global turning points, turbulence and unrest, I am confident that China, like Serbia, will continue to pursue a dignified, consistent and peaceful policy based on international law and the community with a shared future for mankind, he said.
He pointed to new forms of cooperation between the two countries that are opening up, after several decades, with the emergence of new technologies and needs.
According to him, the two countries have joined forces to build a better life for all of us and now, on the threshold of the Year of the Fire Horse, we have the opportunity to open new horizons and develop cooperation – not only in infrastructure, energy, and the automotive and metallurgical industries, but also in the fields of robotics and public security.
We have built relations of mutual trust and support, based not only on the principles of joint declarations, but also on concrete examples of cooperation, the Deputy Prime Minister underlined.
Wishing the Chinese people a happy New Year, Dačić expressed the hope that the decades-long good cooperation between the two countries would continue and deepen.
