Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Professor Dragan Glamočić, PhD, today opened the 7th International Fair of Fruit, Viticulture and Vegetables AgroBelgrade 2026, which brings together leading producers, exporters, buyers and companies from Serbia, the region and Europe.

Glamočić emphasised on this occasion that the goal of such gatherings is to bring concrete business opportunities and greater security in production to producers.
The Minister recalled that in 2025, Serbia exported more than 276 thousand tons of fruit worth €728.5 million, which places fruit, along with wine, among the country's strongest export assets.
He said that the state will increase support per hectare for intensive production this year, as well as investments in perennial plantings, production in protected areas, processing and cold chains, in order to further strengthen the competitiveness of domestic producers.
AgroBelgrade 2026 brings together more than 500 exhibitors and brands, as well as numerous buyers from Europe and the region, and over the course of three days, conferences, expert meetings and business meetings dedicated to modern technologies, market trends and challenges in food production are being held.
