The session, chaired by the Commander of the Team, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić, was also attended by Secretary General of the Government Petar Janjić, ministers, company directors and other members of that body.
Dačić recalled that all possible resources were activated immediately after the announcement of this extreme situation, emphasising that the main task and only function is to help citizens.
He instructed all relevant ministries and services to analyse all problems and what measures should be taken, bearing in mind that these extreme events can be expected in the coming period, announcing that the Team meetings will be held regularly in the coming period.
Prime Minister Macut assessed that the actions taken were very effective, and that he was satisfied with the situation on the ground.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović emphasised that the situation with electricity supply in Serbia is stable and that all consumers are provided with power.
Mesarović specified that last night at 21:00, 337 consumers were without electricity, but the supply gradually stabilised during the evening.
Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević stressed that all first and second-class state roads in Serbia are passable, and that rail, waterway and air traffic are operating regularly.
According to her, other types of transport are operating regularly and there are no major disruptions.
The Danube, Sava and Tisa rivers are at very low water levels, navigation is taking place, but with difficulty, the minister stressed.
When it comes to air traffic, there was only one flight cancellation for operational reasons, Sofronijević said, adding that rail traffic is difficult, but is operating regularly and that there have been no major incidents.
Head of the Emergency Situations Sector Luka Čaušić noted that a state of emergency is currently in force in four municipalities.
According to him, from 4 January to today, 178 interventions by members of the Emergency Situations Sector have been recorded due to the consequences of snowfall, and 45 people have been rescued and evacuated, without a single victim.
