Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić welcomed at Nikola Tesla Airport this evening President of Georgia Mihail Kavelashvili, who arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
In his welcoming remarks, Đurić emphasised that the two countries are connected by sincere friendship, mutual respect, as well as cultural and historical closeness.
The head of Serbian diplomacy also expressed his belief that this visit will give additional impetus to the strengthening of ties between the two countries, especially in light of this year’s anniversary – 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
As part of his official visit to Serbia, the President of Georgia will meet with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and other high-ranking officials.
