Eighth round of Belgrade Pristina talks on decentralisation in Kosovo-Metohija

The eighth round of negotiations on decentralisation in Kosovo-Metohija will be held today in the conference centre Austria Centre Vienna. Delegations from Belgrade and Pristina will discuss the formation of new municipalities in the province, including Kosovska Mitrovica.
The issue of new municipalities with Serb majority and their borders is on the agenda for talks today. Belgrade retains its earlier position on the proposed five existing, an additional 12 and three multiethnic municipalities. The delegation from Pristina however recommends a far smaller number.
