Minister without portfolio in charge of international economic cooperation and the social position of the church in the country and abroad Nenad Popović, PhD, is on an official visit to Turkmenistan, where he is representing Serbia at the International Forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality.

Popović emphasised that Turkmenistan, as one of the leaders in Central Asia in terms of natural gas reserves, ranks fourth in the world and has significant oil reserves.
In addition to energy, Turkmenistan offers significant potential for joint projects in industry, agriculture, construction and engineering technologies, he said.
Serbia sees opportunities for the export of agricultural machinery, seeds, fertilisers and food products, as well as for implementing projects that contribute to the modernisation of these sectors and the adoption of modern technological solutions, Popović said.
