Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić spoke today with the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Serbia based in Prague, Ashot Hovakimian, about improving bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The interlocutors discussed the possibility of strengthening economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest and emphasised the importance of continuing it in a concrete and practical manner in the coming period.
The Minister stated that Serbia appreciates Armenia’s position regarding the non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo, as well as its previous support for our country’s efforts to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Đurić expressed his expectation that Serbia and Armenia will continue to develop cooperation in all areas of common interest.
