Đurić highlighted the importance of the support of members of Congress in creating the most favourable political atmosphere possible, as a basic prerequisite for working on improving Serbian-American relations.
The head of Serbian diplomacy also pointed out to his interlocutor the importance of the Serbian diaspora in the United States, which, with a total number of nearly a million people, represents a valuable bridge of cooperation in Serbian-American relations.
