In a statement to the news agency Beta, Raskovic-Ivic said that during her visit she will have several bilateral meetings with representatives of the UN Security Council member countries, and acquaint them with the situation in the southern Serbian province.
The aim of the UN Security Council is in fact to let the Serbian side be heard, she said, and added that she will once again state the position of the Serbian negotiating team for talks on the future status of Kosovo-Metohija, that of the Serbian government and the Serbian parliament on the negotiations being held in Vienna.
According to Raskovic-Ivic the subject of the session is not negotiations on the future of Kosovo-Metohija but fulfillment of standards, whereby it signifies the framework that follows negotiations, which makes it very important.
All that we are doing in Vienna refers to improvement of the situation for the Serbs and other non-Albanians living in the province, particularly in terms of vital issues such as decentralisation, the position of the church, economy and rights of communities, she noted.
My task is to challenge anything that is not true, Raskovic-Ivic said and warned that no progress has been reached, with some areas such as security even getting worse.
