Starović expressed gratitude to Italy for the strong support it provides to Serbia on its path to EU membership, and in particular for the development and expert assistance in the reform processes.
He pointed out that Italy is one of Serbia’s most important partners, both bilaterally and through regional initiatives, as well as due to its principled support for the European Union’s enlargement policy.
Giglio Vigna highlighted the importance of cooperation between the parliaments of Italy and Serbia, as key democratic institutions.
