President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić welcomed today, in front of the Palace of Serbia, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, who is on a two-day official visit to Serbia.
The President of the DR Congo was welcomed with the highest state honours, a red carpet, the playing of the anthems of the two countries and an honour guard of the Serbian Armed Forces.
In addition to President Vučić, the President of the DR Congo was also welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dačić, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić and Minister of Sport Zoran Gajić.
The ceremonial welcome will be followed by a tête-à-tête meeting between President Vučić and President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.
After the meeting, a plenary meeting of the members of the delegations of Serbia and the Congo, led by the two presidents, is planned.
The ceremony of exchanging signed bilateral documents in the presence of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo is planned for 12:00, after which the presidents will address the media.
