Putin's position on Kosovo in line with principles of international law

Director of the Serbian government's Office of Media Relations Srdjan Djuric said today that the Serbian government considers that the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin of a possible Russian veto on the decision on the final status of Kosovo-Metohija is of absolutely the highest importance for Serbia and for the protection of her essential state and national interests.

Djuric told the Tanjug news agency that the Russian President's position is principled and fully in line with the highest norms of international law, which is very important and in the spirit of preserving peace and stability.
