Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memić, who is leading the Serbian delegation at the 26th session of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), spoke on the sidelines of the meeting in Riyadh with UN Tourism Regional Director for Europe Cordula Wohlmuther.

The meeting focused on further strengthening cooperation between Serbia and the organisation in the field of promoting sustainable development and European tourism initiatives.
The Minister also spoke with Minister of Tourism of Venezuela Leticia Gómez Hernández about the upcoming tourism fair, which will be held in November in Caracas, in which Serbia has been invited to participate.
The session of the UN Tourism General Assembly brought together representatives of member states, international organisations and key stakeholders in the global tourism sector.
The participation of the Republic of Serbia in this meeting contributes to strengthening international cooperation in the field of tourism, increasing the visibility of Serbia’s tourism offer at the global level, as well as the exchange of experiences with member states and partners of UN Tourism.
