Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Snežana Paunović and Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Serbia Hyung Tae Kim expressed satisfaction with cooperation between the two countries to date and determined the directions of further support from the Republic of Korea in the digitalisation process.

Paunović recalled that during the many years of cooperation between the two countries, significant progress has been achieved in digitalisation.
Ambassador Kim conveyed his country’s willingness to continue cooperation with Serbia in this field and in public administration, pointing out that political, economic and cultural relations are also on the rise.
He added that the Republic of Korea’s experience in the field of digitalisation can be useful, because the country has managed to bring e-government closer to citizens, regardless of whether they live in larger urban centres or smaller areas, and that it is ready to transfer this experience to Serbia.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the representatives of the Republic of Korea for their contribution in this area and emphasised that the willingness to continue cooperation through assistance in technical equipment and spatial planning is particularly valuable.
She emphasised that this type of assistance will be particularly important for all citizens in underdeveloped municipalities, which will be partially covered by the 2026 plan, noting that further efforts and resources are needed to ensure complete digitalisation.
