Minister for Family Care and Demography Jelena Žarić Kovačević met today in Doha with Minister of Social and Family Development of Singapore Masagos Zulkifli to discuss the two countries’ experiences in the field of key state policies aimed at family welfare.

At the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development, Žarić Kovačević presented the model that Serbia applies when it comes to the most important policies to support families and children.
She presented the key measures available to citizens, such as substantial financial support for families and subsidising the purchase of the first property for mothers.
The interlocutors reached an agreement that the bilateral meeting in Doha represents a good basis for further strengthening relations and developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
