Minister without portfolio in charge of gender equality, prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women Tatjana Macura said in Belgrade that Serbia views with deep respect Armenia’s path, its reforms and commitment to peace and development.

Macura was a guest of honour and a speaker at the ceremony marking the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, where, on behalf of the Government of Serbia, she extended congratulations to the Armenian people on the occasion.
The path that Armenia is taking shows how much effort, patience and courage are necessary to build a society of peace after severe conflicts. Therefore, we particularly appreciate the efforts to preserve stability, which is a strong message to the world at a time of growing global tensions, she said.
The Minister emphasised that Armenia today represents an example of how dialogue and determination can build a future based on cooperation and mutual understanding.
