Minister of Justice Nenad Vujić discussed today with a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission to Serbia further steps in the process of digitalising the judiciary, with a special focus on the digitalisation of commercial courts.
At the meeting with the delegation, led by Mission Chief Annette Kyobe, the possibilities for improving regulations related to the declaration of public officials’ assets were also discussed.
Vujić informed his interlocutors that the Ministry of Justice has significantly improved the application of information and communication technologies in the judiciary, through the expansion of the eCourt System, the digitalisation of court cases and the introduction of electronic communication between courts, prosecutors’ offices and other state bodies, which contributes to greater efficiency and transparency of their work.
