Đurić reiterated that Serbia is firmly committed to deepening overall cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, especially pointing out the need for intensifying political dialogue and cooperation in numerous areas of mutual interest.
He expressed satisfaction that Riyadh will host World Expo 2030, adding that Serbia can fully understand the preparations and challenges awaiting Saudi Arabia, given that the country is preparing for Specialised Expo, to be held in Belgrade in 2027.
The head of Serbian diplomacy expressed hope that Saudi Arabia will participate and present itself at this prestigious event in the best possible manner.
Al-Marri underlined that the team he leads has already had the opportunity to cooperate with Serbian representatives of Expo 2027 and announced a visit to Belgrade to further systematise cooperation on all matters of common interest and exchange experiences.
