Exchange of experiences with Azerbaijan in field of family policy

In a meeting with Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Anar Rahim oglu Aliyev, experiences were exchanged in the implementation of innovative models of support for families, and the initiative for concluding a memorandum of understanding between the two ministries was also discussed.
During talks with Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan Bahar Avaz Muradova, Žarić Kovačević emphasised that population policy is one of Serbia’s key priorities and that family policy is seen as an investment in the future, with a focus on child protection, support for parents and the fight against violence.
During her visit to Baku, the Minister also visited a DOST centre, which operates as part of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Žarić Kovačević is on a multi-day visit to Azerbaijan, where she is taking part in the international conference entitled SOCGOV 2025: Artificial Intelligence for Humanity and Transformation.
