Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Snežana Paunović and United Nations Resident Coordinator in Serbia Matilde Mordt expressed their readiness to continue and improve the successful cooperation to date in accordance with the needs and plans for further development of the public administration system in Serbia.

During the talks, it was highlighted that the programmes implemented by the United Nations in Serbia so far have yielded significant results, especially in the field of public administration and local self-government reform, through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Mordt expressed satisfaction with the long-standing partnership and high level of cooperation with the Ministry, emphasising that UN agencies will continue to provide support to reform processes that contribute to better and more efficient work of public administration, in the interest of the citizens of Serbia.
Paunović underlined that the Ministry is committed to ensuring that reform processes are implemented in accordance with the highest standards and best practices, with strong reliance on digitalisation as one of the key mechanisms for modernising the administration.
