A ceremonial welcome was organised for the President of the European Commission, with an honour guard of the Serbian Armed Forces, the anthems of Serbia and the EU played and a 10-gun salute.
The welcome was also attended by Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade Jagoda Lazarević, Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović, Head of the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the EU Danijel Apostolović, as well as Director General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Gert Jan Koopman and Head of the European Union Delegation to Serbia Andreas von Beckerath.
