The talks focused on opportunities for improving economic relations.
Popović emphasised that relations between Serbia and Uzbekistan are extremely good and friendly and that the visit to Tashkent opens a new chapter in cooperation with the countries of Central Asia.
For Serbia, Uzbekistan represents a very important partner with whom we want to build successful and long-term economic cooperation, said the Minister, noting that this friendly country has more than 40 million inhabitants, a young population, great economic potential and exceptionally developed tourism.
