Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić underlined today that bilateral relations between Serbia and France are at an exceptional level and characterised by intensive political dialogue and communication at all levels.
At a meeting with Senator at the Senate of the French Republic Olivier Cadic, who is attending the France-Western Balkans Business Forum in Belgrade, Đurić said that strategic partnership makes a special contribution to the continuous strengthening and deepening of cooperation in various fields.
The Minister stated that Serbia’s European path is a clear strategic priority and that membership in the European Union remains the country’s most important foreign policy orientation.
Speaking about the situation in the region, he pointed to increasingly frequent one-sided actions by Priština and the continuation of policy of intimidation in the north of the province, once again calling on the international community to take immediate measures to ensure the safety and protect the rights of the Serbian people.
