Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski attended today the first session of the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of the multiannual Operational Programme on Employment, Skills and Social Inclusion for the period 2024-2027.

The Minister emphasised that the Operational Programme, whose implementation will last until 2032, is worth €126 million, of which €100 million represents support from the European Union, with the remainder provided by Serbia.
According to her, these funds are aimed at supporting youth employment, equipping schools, as well as social inclusion through the provision of housing solutions for vulnerable groups, the deinstitutionalisation process and the development of integrated services at the national and local levels.
She pointed out that it is important for young people to work on their personal development and adapt to the labour market, but also to be aware that they have the support of the state, the EU and its funds, which are very important for laying the foundations and creating policies in Serbia.
