At a meeting held yesterday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Đurić particularly pointed out the importance of developing and intensifying political dialogue, inviting Ramírez Lezcano to visit Serbia.
The Minister expressed his gratitude to Paraguay for its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia, underlining that the issue of Kosovo and Metohija is of the highest national and state importance.
The foreign ministers of Serbia and Paraguay signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs on cooperation between diplomatic academies.
Đurić also spoke with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of Libya Taher al-Baour about cooperation potential and the most important topics on the international stage.
He underlined that Serbia is interested in renewing bilateral ties through the exchange of high-level visits and invited his Libyan counterpart to visit Serbia.
The Minister expressed his satisfaction that Libya confirmed its participation in Specialised Expo 2027 and that it will have an opportunity to present itself at this event.
During the meeting between Đurić and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Honduras Javier Efraín Bú Soto, the further improvement of overall relations and cooperation between the two countries was discussed.
Đurić informed his interlocutor about the preparations for Specialised Expo 2027.
He expressed his expectation that the country would soon confirm its participation in the Specialised Expo 2027 in writing, and invited his Honduran counterpart to visit Serbia in the near future.
The ministers signed an Agreement between the Government of Serbia and the Government of Honduras on the mutual abolition of visas.
