At a meeting held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session, Đurić highlighted the high level of bilateral relations and emphasised that Serbia attaches importance to continuous contacts at the highest and high levels.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the Russian Federation for its principled position and support in the defence of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, emphasising that such support is extremely important bilaterally, and especially in international organisations.
The Serbian Foreign Minister also expressed satisfaction with the consultations between the two ministries on cooperation within the UN system, which were held two weeks ago.
The meeting also discussed the improvement of bilateral economic cooperation, with special attention paid to cooperation in the field of energy.
