Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić underlined today, during talks with Minister of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus Vasilis Palmas, the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the field of defence, with the possibility of its further enhancement in all areas of mutual interest.

Gašić expressed hope that in the coming period there would be an increased scope of cooperation in the field of the military industry, with the aim of improving the operational capabilities of the two countries’ armed forces.
Palmas pointed out that today’s meeting represents an important step in the further strengthening of the friendly relations between Serbia and Cyprus, as well as the advancement of bilateral cooperation in the field of defence.
