This cooperation sets the framework for commercial use as well as the joint enhancement of the capacities of the State Data Centre in Kragujevac, along with the application of advanced information technologies, aimed at supporting digitalisation, innovation and the development of smart solutions.
Jovanović noted that e& plans a series of concrete activities to be implemented in Serbia in cooperation with the Office for IT and eGovernment, adding that the company’s management has expressed readiness to support Serbia’s start-up ecosystem, with a focus on technological research, innovation and knowledge transfer.
He underlined that this cooperation further positions Serbia as a regional leader in digitalisation and innovation and will contribute to the continued growth of the ICT sector in the country.
Murshed pointed out that digital transformation represents a key strength of every modern economy and the foundation for the development of the digital economy.
Thanks to the company’s partnership with the Government of Serbia and its global experience, e& will be able to accelerate Serbia’s digital transformation, establish a bridge between West and East, and expand opportunities for start-ups, the banking sector, the application of artificial intelligence and other activities, he said.
e& is a technology giant and a leader in telecommunications and digital services, setting standards in the development of 5G networks, the provision of cloud and the Internet of Things (IoT) services, and the development of smart solutions.
