Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić stated that Serbia’s participation at this year’s Bled Strategic Forum was focused on showing that Serbia, despite challenges of a global, regional and even national character, is a country of the future, developing dynamically.

Đurić emphasised that Serbia is a country that plans its policies years ahead, seeing the preservation of stability and independence in domestic and foreign policy, as well as economic development, as priorities.
He noted that at this gathering he took part in a panel whose central topic was how young people can contribute to the transformation of the region and how European integration influences whether young people from the region stay or leave.
At the same time, in meetings held on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum, we spoke very openly about the position of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, about recent developments concerning the Serb List, and about the challenges faced by Serbs whose children are starting school in Kosovo and Metohija this year, the Minister underlined.
Đurić stressed that Serbia will continue to remain oriented towards external and internal dialogue, a country that will preserve stability and stay on the course set by the people through their choice of legitimate representatives, adding that Serbia will continue to be a driver of growth and development in the Balkans.
