The Government of the Republic of Serbia today adopted amended decisions in the field of education, which determine the budget quotas for enrollment in the first year of study programs financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia for three higher education institutions – the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade, the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and the Faculty of Applied Arts of the University of Arts in Belgrade in the 2025/2026 academic year.

The Government made these decisions taking into account that the conditions have been met for determining the number of students for enrollment in the first year of study programmes financed from the budget for the relevant higher education institutions.
At the time of the adoption of the previous decisions, the aforementioned faculties were not engaged in higher education activities.
The members of the Government adopted a Decision on the allocation of funds collected on the basis of the postponement of criminal prosecution, based on a public competition announced in February this year.
The funds collected on the basis of the postponement of criminal prosecution in the amount of RSD 500 million was allocated to the beneficiaries who took the first 233 places on the final ranking list, and the competent minister will sign contracts with them.
The cabinet also adopted a Decree on the establishment of the Programme for the allocation of non-refundable funds for the equipment and interior decoration of rural homes in villages on the territory of the Republic of Serbia for 2025, in order to enable the decoration of approximately 39 homes that are important centres of cultural and social life in rural areas.
The government has also adopted a Decree on the Establishment of the Programme for the Use of Funds for Addressing Housing Needs and Other Refugee Integration Programmes in 2025.
The number of families that will be beneficiaries of assistance in 2025 will depend on the number of applications submitted, while it is planned to resolve the housing issue for at least 100 vulnerable refugee families.
