At today’s session, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a Decision on the Establishment of the Commission for the Analysis of the Work of Higher Education Institutions.

Government establishes Commission to analyse work of higher education institutions

The Commission’s task will be to analyse enrolment policies and their implementation over the past five years at universities, faculties and art academies at the levels of undergraduate and master academic studies, integrated academic studies and doctoral studies.
The Commission will also analyse pass rates within the same categories of institutions (pass rates per academic year, duration of studies), average grades of students who completed their studies in the 2023/2024 academic year, as well as other matters.
The government also adopted a Decision amending the Decision on the Declaration of a Natural Disaster, whereby, due to the effects of wildfires in July 2025, a natural disaster was declared in Vranje as well.
Cabinet members adopted the Decree amending the Decree on the Conditions, Method and Procedure for Registering Users of the eExcise System, the Content and Method of Retrieving Data from Other Registers Maintained by Relevant Authorities, as well as Data Related to Excise Goods, Excise Taxpayers and Participants in Trade, the Procedure for Managing the Business Processes of the eExcise System, and the Exchange of Data and Information between eExcise System Users Concerning Excise Goods, and the Recording, Storage and Processing of Data Related to the Movement of Excise Goods.
The government also adopted the Decree on Determining the Port Area of the Special-Purpose Port – Marina in Bezdan.
Furthermore, the government adopted amendments to the Decree on the Conditions of Delivery and Supply of Electricity, which regulate new deadlines and the procedure for drafting connection studies for the facilities of electricity producers and consumers.
