The most significant new element is the introduction of textbooks of national importance for primary schools for the following subjects: Serbian Language, Serbian Language and Literature, the World Around Us, Science and Social Studies, History, Geography, Music and Visual Arts, as well as textbooks of special importance for national minorities.
Government members adopted a Decree setting 1 September as the Day of the Non-Aligned, as a reminder of Belgrade's historic role in founding this movement and as a confirmation of Serbia's strategic commitment to remain consistent with the policy of peace, cooperation and equality among nations.
A Decree on the establishment of guidelines for the operation of interconnected electricity transmission systems was also adopted, with the aim of harmonising it with European regulations and improving the efficiency of the energy system.
This legal solution applies to all significant network users, including production modules, consumers and distribution systems connected to the transmission system.
The adoption of this Decree represents the continuation of reform of the energy sector and the taking over of obligations from the European Union's Third Energy Package.
The government adopted a Decree on the Proclamation of the Jelica Mountain as a Landscape of Exceptional Characteristics, with the aim of preserving the geological, biological, landscape diversity, cultural and historical heritage and attractive morphological features.
Government members also adopted a Conclusion enabling beneficiaries of a Young Talent Fund scholarship to participate in the “Talent in the Public Sector” internship programme for the third year in a row.
