Minister without portfolio in charge of coordinating activities and measures in the field of relations with the diaspora Đorđe Milićević today opened a sports and educational camp in Paraćin, which brought together 120 young participants.
Milićević stated that the camp in Paraćin is a meeting place for Serbian youth from across Europe, as well as an opportunity to forge new friendships and build unity and national strength.
He noted that this is part of a broader state programme through which Serbia is building bridges with its diaspora and the region, by means of cultural, educational and sports projects that provide young people with opportunities to connect with the country of their roots.
The sports and educational camp brought together Serbian children from Sweden, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska, Montenegro, Bulgaria and North Macedonia.
