Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Professor Dragan Glamočić, PhD, as the envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia, is participating in the 2nd UN Food Systems Summit Stocktake (UNFSS+4), which is being held in Addis Ababa.

On the sidelines of the summit, Glamočić had important meetings with Minister of Agriculture of Zambia Reuben Mtolo Phiri, Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition of Lesotho Thabo Mofosi and Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov.
During these talks, readiness was expressed for the exchange of knowledge, the launch of joint projects and the development of cooperation in the field of agriculture.
Glamočić expressed gratitude to his interlocutors for their support for the territorial integrity of Serbia and for the fact that their countries do not recognise the unilaterally declared independence of the so-called Kosovo.
At the meeting with State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Hadera Abera Admassu, they discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation, as well as reactivating the diplomatic and consular mission of Serbia in Addis Ababa, which would further strengthen our country's presence on the African continent and strengthen diplomatic, economic and cultural ties with Ethiopia.
During the talks with Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Qu Dongyu, the Minister reiterated Serbia’s readiness to actively participate in global initiatives related to improving food security.
