The Serbian government adopted in its today’s session the Action Plan to end cooperation with the Hague tribunal. The president of the Serbian National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Rasim Ljajic and war crimes prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic will be in charge of implementing the Action Plan.
The government established a Bill amending the Law on Ministries by introducing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, following the split-up of Serbia-Montenegro’s state union.
The government established a Bill on cessation of validity of Serbian laws which were previously applied as laws of Serbia-Montenegro.
A Bill on Administration for civil aviation was adopted today as well as a Bill on protecting children’s rights.
The government established a Bill on agriculture today.
A Decree on percentage of capital which will go private in energy companies with majority state capital was adopted. Under the decree, the percentage of capital which can go private cannot exceed 70% of total capital.
The government also passed a Decree on special remuneration for members of the Commission for implementation of protection programme.
The government brought a Decision on the establishment of a commission for implementation of the national strategy for the fight against corruption and of the recommendations of the Group of States Against Corruption (GREKO). Commission chairman is Justice Minister Zoran Stojkovic.
The government passed a Decision on the establishment of a council for examining questions related to financial and technical support for improvement of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.
A Decision on the export of sugar to EU countries was adopted, with which the system of double control of sugar export to these countries will be established.
The government approved the initiative for launching the privatisation of the public company Radio Leskovac from Leskovac.
The government passed decisions on the use of funds from the Fund for Kosovo-Metohija. The following funds will be taken from the fund: 10.6 million dinars for necessary reconstruction works in the Pecka Patrijarsija monastery and 10 million dinars for reconstruction of the Decani monastery. In addition, 34,440 dinars will be set aside for the financing of the observation of seven years since the death of 14 harvesters in the village of Staro Gracko near Ljipljan.
The government approved the Decision to establish cooperation between the Ruma municipality and the city of Arzamas in Russia.
A report on the work from the Council for the reform of pension insurance system was accepted at the session.
