The Serbian Statistics Office has said that Serbia’s average gross salary amounted to 31,864 dinars, which is by 5.14% higher in nominal terms and by 5.14% more in real terms than the average salary in May.
The average net salary in June stood at 21,777 dinars, or 5.14% more in both real and nominal terms.
Compared with the same month of 2005, the June net salary rose 24.94% nominally and 9.89% in real terms.
The average take-home salary in June nominally rose by 24.86% and 9.82% compared with the same month last year.
The average net salary paid out from January to June 2006 rose 25.26% nominally and 9.4% in real terms against the same period last year, according to the Statistics Office.
Serbia’s average gross salary in the January-July 2006 period rose 25.25% and 9.39% in nominal and real terms respectively against the same period of 2005.
