Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Professor Dragan Glamočić, PhD, and Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Serbia Jan Bondy remarked today that agriculture is a key pillar of the economy and development in both countries, noting that bilateral relations in the agricultural sector are continuously improving.

At the meeting, it was highlighted that trade in agricultural and food products reached €75.5 million last year, and that excellent cooperation has been established between the two countries’ veterinary authorities.
Both sides expressed a clear interest in further intensifying the Serbia-Czech Republic partnership in the agricultural sector, with a particular focus on the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of livestock farming.
