Minister of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue Demo Beriša today discussed with Head of the Council of Europe Mission in Belgrade Janos Babity the continuation of cooperation and topics of common interest.
The officials also discussed cooperation within the framework of the project “Fighting Discrimination and Promoting Diversity in Serbia”, which aims to improve the functioning of anti-discrimination mechanisms and their accessibility to vulnerable groups, in accordance with European standards and best practices.
Beriša emphasised that the Ministry is committed to the protection and promotion of human rights and the fight against discrimination, and added that this will continue to be one of the priorities in the coming period.
Babity expressed his readiness for further professional cooperation and continuation of projects in the field of anti-discrimination and human rights protection, with the aim of better implementing the recommendations of relevant Council of Europe bodies.
