In his address at the gathering "Belgrade Strategic Dialogue - Partnership between Serbia, Israel and the United States", organised by the Serbian-American Friendship Congress, Đurić emphasised that he deeply believes that this type of cooperation is historically well-founded.
The partnership between the Serbian and Jewish people has lasted for centuries, the Minister underlined.
Speaking about the strategic partnership between Serbia, Israel and the United States, Đurić said that there is a strong political will in Serbia to develop relations with both Israel and the United States.
In reference to relations with the US, he assessed that we are opening a new chapter of cooperation and announced that the formal first session of the strategic dialogue between Serbia and the US is expected in the coming months, which will cover all key areas of our cooperation.
The head of Serbian diplomacy said that this refers to the economy, where the US has become the first partner of our country.
He stated that modern technologies, IT, the software industry and innovations have contributed to our country experiencing rapid economic development in the past decade and more than doubling its GDP.
